Walk Leader

We're looking for Walk Leaders to help Scarborough Ramblers continue to run a varied and regular programme of walks. In return you will not only make new and lasting friendships but you will also experience the unforgettable scenery of the North York Moors, Yorkshire Wolds and Yorkshire coastline.

As a walk leader you’ll be joining a community of over 14,000 other volunteers helping open the way for people to enjoy walking the length and breath of Great Britain.

You’ll lead walks of your choice with Scarborough Ramblers. You choose if that’s a short coastal stroll, a stomp up a windswept hill, or a local amble for family groups – the choice is yours. You’ll connect with your group to be sure that your offer fits into the local programme and in return they’ll help you get the most out of this exciting and popular role.

People are what makes the Ramblers such a great community, so in this role you’ll make everyone feel welcome. Whether this is their very first walk with us or if they have walked with us for years, you’ll help everyone feel at home.
